Solo developer lemorion_1224 patched Meccha Chameleon almost daily through its viral launch week, moving from v1.0.3 on release day to v1.2.2 within a week. The biggest update, v1.2.0, added the fifth official map (Penguin Hotel) and a new scoring system. Sales tracked the pace: it passed 500,000 copies on June 10 and crossed one million in just three days, with Steam Workshop maps climbing past 35.
